Brewery Arts Center
The Brewery Arts Center (BAC) was founded in 1975 by a group of artists yearning for a space of their own. Today, the BAC encompasses three historic buildings on two city blocks in Carson City’s historic West Side including a 250 seat Performance Hall, 120 seat Black Box theater, Artisan Shop featuring Moondance Chocolates, art classrooms, a Harmony Sculpture Park, numerous revolving public art and, in the summertime, The Change Company Stage, an outdoor amphitheater. The organization is privately funded through donations, grants and earned income. The facility provides a home for 15 other non-profit organizations and hosts over 100 music, art, theater and dance events each year, including Levitt AMP Carson City a 10 week free concert series dedicated to building the social fabric of America through the power of free live music.
