Entertainment, food, family and friends converge under the stars on the scenic shore of Lake Tahoe each summer as Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival (LTSF) – a premiere summer event in the Reno/Tahoe region – produces live theater entertainment at Sand Harbor State Park. The July/August season is anchored by the Festival’s mainstage production of a play by William Shakespeare. A multi-event Monday Night Showcase series augments the Festival’s mainstage production and features a diverse array of live music and entertainment from a variety of genres. The LTSF entertainment experience is complemented by al fresco dining at its on-site restaurant - Shakespeare’s Kitchen which offers a wide variety of gourmet dining options. Alternatively, patrons may choose to bring their own food or drink for picnicking. The Festival’s series of education programming is highlighted the D.G. Menchetti Young Shakespeare Program - free performances produced for younger audiences at Lake Tahoe and throughout northern Nevada.
